Neurotoxins
Neurotoxins (Botox, Dysport, Jeuveau, Xeomin) are the most popular single cosmetic procedure in the US. Injectable neurotoxins interrupt that signal that tells your muscles to contract. They are injected into the muscles to reduce wrinkles caused by repetitive muscle movements, such as squinting, frowning, and raising your eyebrows. Neurotoxins work beneath the surface and can temporarily improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and crow's feet.
How do Neurotoxins work?
Neurotoxins target one of the most common underlying causes of frown lines, crow’s feet, and forehead lines — the repetitive muscle contractions we do daily. From frowning, squinting, smiling, and raising eyebrows over the years, these movements lead to visible signs of aging. By injecting the muscles, the neurotoxin will temporarily reduce muscle activity.
How long does the treatment take? Will it hurt?
We will perform a facial analysis and discuss your treatment goals to determine the appropriate treatment areas. If you are a candidate, the injection may take place on that same day. Most patients report no pain associated with treatment. Some patients report that being injected with neurotoxins feels like a small pinch. Ice may be used to numb the treatment area.
How long is the recovery time?
Treatment requires minimal downtime. You can return to your routine almost immediately after treatment.
When will I see the results?
You will notice results within 24-48 hours. You will see the most significant result after 14 days, with results lasting up to four months for moderate to severe frown lines. Results vary, so your next appointment will be based on your results and aesthetic goals.

Dermal Fillers
The natural aging process makes our skin more susceptible to wrinkles and fine lines caused by muscle movement and sun damage. Hyaluronic acid injections, made from a naturally occurring moisture-binding substance found in the human body, are used to restore facial contours and improve multiple signs of aging. Dermal fillers are most commonly used to smooth lines around nose and mouth, enhance and restore lost volume to cheeks and temples, plump and hydrate the lips, and improve symmetry among facial features.
How do fillers work?
Hyaluronic Acid (HA) fillers are typically soft and gel-like, which helps keep skin plump and hydrated when injected. The results are not permanent, lasting 6 to 12 months before the body gradually and naturally absorbs the particles.
How long does the treatment take? Will it hurt?
Each treatment area only takes 15 minutes. Depending on the number of areas treated, appointment duration may vary. During your initial appointment, we will discuss the appropriate treatment for you. If you are a candidate, the injection may take place the same day. The area to be treated will be cleaned, and you may be given a topical anesthetic to numb the area before injection for additional comfort. Your provider will inject a precise amount of filler methodically under the skin. Most patients report that being injected feels like a pinch or slight burning sensation.
How long is the recovery time?
Swelling and mild bruising can occur for up to one week, depending on your body’s response to treatment and the number of doses injected. You may resume your regular activities after treatment, but you should avoid exercise for 24 hours. Give yourself two weeks before any event or vacation.
When will I see the results?
Results are typically visible immediately after receiving injections.
