FAQS

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)
What concerns can IPL treat?
Sun damage
Redness/Rosacea Hyperpigmentation
Age spots/freckles
Vascular lesions
Spider Veins
Textural abnormalities
How does IPL work?
IPL delivers brief pulses of a broad spectrum of light wavelengths. This process helps the skin in two ways. The wavelengths absorb excess pigment in the skin (reds and browns) to restore a smoother and even complexion. On a smaller scale, IPL stimulates collagen production to improve overall skin tone.
How long does the treatment take?
Treatment time depends on how much of an area is being treated. However, on average, the treatment lasts anywhere from 20-45 minutes. IPL is virtually painless. Most clients report a mild pinching sensation.
How long is the recovery time?
Because IPL is non-invasive, it typically requires little to no downtime.
When will I see the results?
Results are typically seen within 4-6 weeks.
How many sessions are required?
The number of sessions varies by individual. We recommend having a consultation to tailor a treatment plan for every client's specific needs.

The hydrodermabrasion facial is a one-off, but it can be done periodically to maintain the results.

Dermal Fillers
How do fillers work?
Hyaluronic Acid (HA) fillers are typically soft and gel-like, which helps keep skin plump and hydrated when injected. The results are not permanent, lasting 6 to 12 months before the body gradually and naturally absorbs the particles.
How long does the treatment take? Will it hurt?
Each treatment area only takes 15 minutes. Depending on the number of areas treated, appointment duration may vary. During your initial appointment, we will discuss the appropriate treatment for you. If you are a candidate, the injection may take place the same day. The area to be treated will be cleaned, and you may be given a topical anesthetic to numb the area before injection for additional comfort. Your provider will inject a precise amount of filler methodically under the skin. Most patients report that being injected feels like a pinch or a slight burning sensation.
How long is the recovery time?
Swelling and mild bruising can occur for up to one week, depending on your body’s response to treatment and the number of doses injected. You may resume your regular activities after treatment, but you should avoid exercise for 24 hours. Give yourself two weeks before any event or vacation.
When will I see the results?
Results are typically visible immediately after receiving injections.

Microneedling
What skin concerns does Microneedling treat?
Microneedling treats fine lines, wrinkles, surgical scars, acne scars, large pore size, sun damage, age spots, hyperpigmentation, stretch marks, and texture problems.
How long does the treatment take? Will it hurt?
Microneedling treatments take between 45-60 minutes, which includes numbing time. Before the actual treatment, the area will be cleaned, and you will be given a prescription-grade topical anesthetic to numb the area. As a result, microneedling treatments are generally well-tolerated and virtually painless.
How long is the recovery time?
The downtime is minimal, allowing you to resume your regular activities 1-2 days following treatment. The post-treatment skincare recommended can accelerate the recovery time. Waiting 24 hours before makeup application is advised.
When will I see the results?
Your skin will feel tighter after treatment as collagen induction begins within 48 hours of treatment. The results will become more obvious 4-6 weeks later and continue to improve for 3 – 12 months. New collagen created should last between 5-7 years.
How many treatments do I need?
The number of treatments varies based on each individual client’s needs. However, in general, we typically recommend at least three treatments 4-6 weeks apart.

Neurotoxins
How do Neurotoxins Work?
Neurotoxins target one of the most common underlying causes of frown lines, crow’s feet, and forehead lines — the repetitive muscle contractions we do daily. From frowning, squinting, smiling, and raising eyebrows over the years, these movements lead to visible signs of aging. By injecting the muscles, the neurotoxin will temporarily reduce muscle activity.
How long does the treatment take? Will it hurt?
We will perform a facial analysis and discuss your treatment goals to determine the appropriate treatment areas. If you are a candidate, the injection may take place on that same day. Most patients report no pain associated with treatment. Some patients report that being injected with neurotoxins feels like a small pinch. Ice may be used to numb the treatment area.
How long is the recovery time?
Treatment requires minimal downtime. You can return to your routine almost immediately after treatment.
When will I see the results?
You will notice results within 24-48 hours. You will see the most significant result after 14 days, with results lasting up to four months for moderate to severe frown lines. Results vary, so your next appointment will be based on your results and aesthetic goals.

When will I see the results?
Your skin will be immediately smoother and brighter.
How often should I receive a chemical peel treatment?
Because the life cycle of the skin cell is 28 days, we recommend receiving a Dermaplaning treatment every 4-6 weeks to aid in cell turnover and maintaining the glow your skin deserves.

Chemical Peels
What concerns can a chemical peel treat?
Chemical peels smooth wrinkles and fine lines, minimize acne scars or scars from injury or surgery, reduce or remove blotchiness and discoloration, and tone and tighten the skin. They also brighten the complexion by reducing dullness.
How long does the treatment take? Will it hurt?
Chemical peels take between 20 to 45 minutes, including the time needed to prepare the skin for the peel itself. Some clients report a mild tingling or burning sensation, but the treatment is typically painless.
How long is the recovery time?
Recovery time depends on the strength of the peel. The peel may be considered light, medium, or deep, which dictates how many layers of skin are removed through the process.
When will I see the results?
After the healing process following your chemical peel, you will notice brighter and tighter skin with a more even skin tone. Repeating treatments periodically is needed for optimal results.
How often should I receive a chemical peel treatment?
The frequency of treatments depends on the strength of the peel. Light-medium peels may be repeated as often as every 4-6 weeks. Deeper peels may be repeated as often as every three months.

PRP For Hair Regeneration
How does PRP work?
During a PRP procedure, a licensed professional will draw a small amount of blood before beginning treatment. Your blood will run through a centrifuge to separate red blood cells from plasma and concentrate platelets and growth factors. After that 10-minute process, the concentrated PRP will be injected into your scalp. The PRP will increase the blood flow to your hair follicles and stimulate the growth of new hair follicles.
How long does the treatment take?
The entire process is about 30 minutes. Because the injections are minimally invasive, pain is minimal. We do use prescription-grade topical numbing cream to help alleviate pain
How long is the recovery time?
Because the PRP is from your own body and injections are minimally invasive, there is no recovery time. You may resume regular activities following treatment, but we recommend not vigorously treating or washing the scalp immediately after the procedure.
When will I see the results?
While results are not guaranteed, they are typically seen within 1-3 months. Hair restoration from PRP injections will depend on your gender, age, genes, hormones, and other factors, including your initial amount of hair. Maintaining a healthier lifestyle will increase your chance of success for hair restoration.
How many sessions are required?
The number of sessions varies by individual. We recommend having a consultation to tailor a treatment plan for every client's specific needs.

How long is the recovery time?
You can have the treatment during your lunch break and return to your regular activities as the procedure is non-invasive with no recovery time.
When will I see the results?
You will shed hair over several days to weeks, which may look like continued hair growth. Repeated treatments are needed for maintenance because of the hair growth and loss cycle. Laser treatment works best in the new-growth stage of hair follicles.
How long do results from hair removal last?
Results vary and are difficult to predict. For some patients, hair removal lasts several months or years. However, laser hair removal does not guarantee permanent hair removal. Long-term hair reduction may require periodic maintenance treatments.
